Had an interesting day at the salon. I was chatting with a client about how we loved dogs and stuff. It somehow lead me to tell her about the time my dog brought a bird into the house and he snapped its neck and we watched it flutter away to die in the yard. Totally appropriate.
I really love my new job.
Anywho, I'm off to cause some trouble in DTSJ.

I'm totally inspired by the warmth omitted from the lamps of my room. No, not reptile basking lamps... but this shade of hazel is so pretty. So warm, So cozy.

I've never been one to express myself with words... a trait that I hope to change in this new year. I'm so closed off. That totally vacant expression on my face is a dead giveaway... I'm thinking. Nervous giggle, change of subject, spontaneous dance and song... I should really seek help.
I'm all jacked up in the head I suppose. That's the only explanation for why I smile through the toughest of times. "Strong" is not the word... "numb" is more like it.
